Managing Director

Chris is the Managing Director of KBE Human Capital.

Chris specialises in Partner level recruitment, Practice Group/team movements, establishing new law firms, and facilitating law firm mergers and acquisitions. He also acts as a sounding board and mentor to the Principal Consultants for all active recruitment briefs undertaken by KBE Human Capital.

Chris is widely regarded as a thought leader within the WA legal community and is emerging as a change agent within the WA legal profession.

He is regularly retained by firms to assist with business strategy and execution. In recent years, Chris has been engaged by law firms to mentor Partners and Senior Associates in building and maintaining their client networks to drive profit growth.

Chris is an active member of the WA business community. He is Director of KBI and KBI Woonta, a Director of The Vine House, Founding Chairman of The Piddington Society, a former Director of Parkerville Children & Youth Care where he chaired the Fundraising and Board Selection Committees, and Chairman of and Consultant to a number of boutique commercial law firms.

Prior to establishing KBE Human Capital, Chris was a Founding Director of specialist recruitment companies Interpeople and Rigforce. He is a former lawyer and registered migration agent, having completed his studies at the University of Western Australia. Chris is now a guest lecturer at several Law Schools across WA.

Beyond business in Western Australia, Chris and a team of Australian/Brazilian business associates were involved with the successful acquisition and vend of a Brazilian Iron Ore Project.

In 2011, Chris became one of the youngest people in Western Australia to be recognised in the 40Under40 awards, and was awarded as the top performer across Western Australia for combining business and charitable initiatives.

Principal Consultant

Siemone is a Principal Consultant at KBE Human Capital.

Siemone joined the firm in 2017 and oversees a number of key practice areas across the Western Australian market, specialising in the placement of lawyers with 2 years’ PAE through to Senior Associate/Special Counsel level.

She is an active member of the WA legal profession and sits on the board of The Piddington Society.

Siemone has enjoyed a successful career spanning over 20 years within the recruitment industry, both at Management and Principal/Senior Consultant level. Throughout her career, Siemone has built and managed high performance recruitment teams and set herself apart by establishing valued and long term relationships with candidates and clients.

Prior to joining KBE Human Capital, Siemone worked within a boutique recruitment company for 13 years, starting as a Consultant and progressing to Management where she successfully established and led high performing recruitment teams within the Auckland and Wellington markets. Siemone was seconded to a Branch Manager position to establish a new company office and built a team, client base and network from the ground up.

Siemone then took a Management position within a global company and was a member of the NZ rebranding and new launch team, successfully leading a group of consultants through a time of constant change. The next step Perth, WA – Siemone joined a global recruitment company as a Senior Consultant and established a portfolio within the public sector space recruiting contract, temporary and permanent positions.

Siemone has built a reputation for successfully sourcing top talent across a range of organisations within the private, public and also not for profit sectors. She prides herself on taking a personal approach to both business and people, and looks forward to adding value to the Western Australia legal community for many years to come.
